Christmas

The couple on your list

Two people, one name on your Christmas list, and one gift they share: an evening for two at their house, then an artwork drawn from both of their heartbeats, to hang on a wall they pick together.

A gift with two owners

The box holds two smart rings and a charger, one smart ring for each of them. The artwork is drawn from both traces at once, so both of them are the recipient.

The artwork arrives later, theirs to hang on whichever wall they decide.

Ordering from Thanksgiving on

Shipping inside the United States is included, and the rings leave the studio within three business days. Carriers slow down through December, and the last stretch before the holidays is the least predictable of the year.

Order in the window between Thanksgiving and the first weekend of December, and the box is in your hands with room to spare.

Past that date, order anyway: on the night, you hand over the moment, and the rings follow in January. They pick their evening whenever they like. An evening for two is easier to live in January than wedged between two family dinners.

The artwork ships about two weeks after their evening, so the last part of the Christmas gift arrives in February.

When several of you give the gift together

Three siblings can give this gift to their parents, or a group of friends to a couple who just moved in. One order, one shipping address, one gift shared between several givers.

For parents or grandparents: the evening happens at their house, just the two of them, and the app walks them through each step. A heart varies constantly, even on an evening that feels perfectly ordinary.

Two sizes, kept quiet

Checkout asks for one ring size per person, on the American scale — whole numbers from 6 to 13, the sizes any U.S. jeweler uses.

In December, asking outright gives the whole thing away. The quiet route: borrow a ring each of them already wears and lay that ring on a ruler, inner edge to inner edge. Size 6 reads 16.5 mm across, size 13 reads 22.2 mm.

When unsure, go up a size. A ring has to clear the knuckle, and the smart ring reads a heartbeat better on a comfortable finger.

The sentence that opens the box

Hand them the box of rings in front of the whole family, with one line to explain the gift: you two are going to spend half an hour together, and that half hour becomes a framed artwork.

Frequently asked

When should I order for U.S. delivery before Christmas?

Yes. U.S. delivery is included in the price shown at checkout.
Can several people give this together?
Yes. One order, shipped to a single address, shared between several givers.
What ring sizes do you use?
American sizes 6 through 13. Measure the inner diameter of a ring they already wear — 16.5 mm at size 6, 22.2 mm at size 13 — or go up a size when unsure.
What if they want their evening long after Christmas?
