Weddings · Two hearts, one artwork
Keep something other than photographs
Let yourself be carried by this unique experience that gives material form to the union of your two hearts. What remains of a wedding day is images taken by someone else, from an angle they chose. Connection keeps a trace nobody framed: the one your two hearts left during half an hour you pick anywhere in the day.

When, in a day that is already full
Three windows work better than the others, and none of them requires moving anything.
The morning, before the house fills up: it is the only moment of the day when you are still just two, and the one where anticipation reads most clearly in a heart rhythm. Right after the ceremony, off to the side, while guests are moving: thirty minutes are almost always there, and many couples are already looking for them. Or late, once the room has emptied and the day drops all at once.
The capture asks for ten minutes minimum so there is enough material, and one hour maximum. The average sits around thirty minutes. You press Begin, you press End, and nothing exists outside that window.
What the day imposes, and how to work around it
You need to be in the same room, facing each other. This is not an aesthetic preference: both traces are composed together, and a couple standing metres apart during the capture produces two recordings that never answer each other.
A phone has to stay in the same room, charged. Each of you pairs a ring to your own, or a single phone carries both. Too far away, the ring loses contact and part of the trace is lost: on a wedding day, a jacket pocket left on a chair at the other end of the room is the most ordinary risk, and the only one that costs anything.
The rings arrive charged, with their charger. Top them up the night before, along with everything else. They are water resistant, including in late-evening rain.
Getting the rings before the date
This is the only real constraint. Rings leave the studio within three business days and take one to two weeks to arrive. Order at least a month ahead, so the box is not among the things that show up the day before.
There is nothing to book: no date is held in a calendar, no slot expires. The order sends you the rings, and the day decides the rest.
The artwork ships about two weeks after your capture. So a wedding is ordered before and received after the honeymoon, which works out rather well.
What it gives you, and what it does not
There are two artworks — Astral, which weaves your two signatures into a single shape, and Two Shores, which stacks them without ever mixing them. Their full reading lives on their own pages; you choose yours when ordering.
You choose the artwork and two colours. You do not choose the result. The composition depends entirely on what your bodies did that day, and the trace is never retouched.
What it does not give you: a reading of your feelings. A change in heart rate says something happened, never what. What you said to each other that day stays between you, and appears nowhere in the artwork.
