Each artwork is made of the moments recorded by the ring.

The artwork’s colours and shape are based on the biological data recorded during the moment.
Once you have chosen your guide, you will select the artwork to create and the colours you want.

How to read the Astral artwork

Every ray in the Astral artwork leaves a single point, at the centre of the frame. The rays come from the heartbeats the ring recorded during your moment, and they reach out to the edges: no part of the frame stays empty.

The Astral artwork and the Sun artwork come from the same heartbeats. Sun sets your moment in a circle, around a centre. Astral carries the same heartbeats out to the four edges of the frame, from a single point.

The overall shape is the same for every Astral artwork: a point at the centre, rays out to the edges. The detail comes from your heart, and every trace is unique.

What the colour does

You choose a palette at checkout. The palette’s first colour appears when the heart speeds up, the second when the heart slows down. At rest, the trace keeps a neutral tone.

The balance of colours is decided by your heart alone: a calm moment and a restless moment do not give the same Astral artwork, even with the same palette.

Square or portrait

The Astral artwork is ordered in two orientations, and each has two formats, named after their frame. Square: 12 × 12 in and 16 × 16 in. Portrait: 11 × 14 in and 18 × 24 in.

You choose the orientation and the format at checkout, on the format screen. The price depends on the format, not the orientation: a small square and a small portrait cost the same.

Who Astral is for

For you alone: your heart draws your Astral artwork. For two: both your hearts compose a single Astral artwork, or each of you receives your own Astral artwork.

For two in a single artwork, your two traces leave the same central point and each goes all the way around. Every beat of each person draws its own ray, in the colour of its rhythm, and the rays of your two hearts intertwine all around, with no part kept for one or the other.

To keep your two traces separate, one above the other, one band per person, choose the Two Shores artwork.

The print

The Astral artwork arrives framed, ready to hang, with its numbered certificate. The certificate ties the print to the original capture. One more framed copy can be ordered with the artwork.

The artwork leaves the studio about two weeks after your moment ends.

You decide the duration during the moment: you press Finish whenever you want. Most people end their moment at around thirty minutes.

The trace comes from your moment: it exists only once.
